What I couldn't tell though was if the battery was still being overcharged even with the plug unclipped from the alternator, because my poxy cheap-arse circuit tester only goes up to 12v. I still used it though, on the battery. using the DC Battery test port it showed just under 12v but the circuit test port went off the scale.

I removed the uncut blade and pushed the cut blade on in it's place.

Had a problem Tuesday morning, went to start car,Mondeo mk3 130 diesel, battery dead, checked everything and so ordered new battery as had car now for 12 months without problem (electrics only) I checked the current drain after fitting the new battery and got a reading of 0.10 amps.
Like when I turn the ignition on, on the small pins of the control circuit in the relay socket appears "weak" 12V, but after inserting the relay does not start it. Buddy, check if there is mass or 12V, and it is important. Secondly, short the pins in the relay socket and see if it fires every time. Thirdly, insert 2 wires into the socket

And exactly the same problem. Steering malfunction displays, then I can start the car at most 3-4 times and after that it won't start again.
