Other than that you can put in feedback to see if it's just that game that is having issues, so basically perfect closing of the session or no saves are ^{Well, damn. TheAncientOne Nov 22, 2014 @ 8:32am. Turn off Cloud Sync before putting old file back and start the game. If you don't it will download the cloud save automatically. Then fire up your game load the game, then put game into window mode and go into uplay and turn on cloud sync again if you want the old savegame data to be xfered back to to cloud.

when you do , go to the safe house in the outpost (look for a red door) , there you can create a save. if you quit the game in the middle of a mission it does not save your progress until you complete the mission (again same as FC3) the first rescue the hostages mission is easy ..use a bow and your throwing knives , or if you bought the gold They all have a way in. When the fortress is weakened by your campaign progress the message that appears will change when you hover over it on the map. Each of the fortresses has a "boss" that gets dealt with during a campaign mission. However they really aren't that hard to take care of before you get those missions.
